It began with Cartridge Save in January 2012 (where I also first cut my teeth in the world of SEO), moved agency-side with Soap Media in January 2015 where I was able to work with the AA launching its new business venture, before stepping up to become a Content Manager in 2017, and now to Senior Copywriter for 2018. I'm the Senior Copywriter for Gregory Pennington of Think Money Group. I write all of the marketing communications for the debt management department, whilst also remaining compliant with the FCA's regulations.
I worked alongside the AA for two years. Soap Media helped to launch its mobile tyre fitting website, and I went on to write over 700 pages for the company to help it rise up Google's search rankings and compete with established industry names.
This famous amusement park was one of Soap Media's top clients when I joined. I went on to provide copy and SEO duties for the theme park, helping it to compete with rivals, whilst writing fun content to make people want to visit.
I was the Content Manager for this popular family holidays company. My first project was to assist with a complex CMS migration to Tridion (8 months). I then lead the company's content strategy until the end of '17.
For Lancashire County Council, I managed its healthcare initiative the Six Week Breastfeeding Challenge. This involved managing the content strategy and producing press releases, blog posts, and a social strategy in the build up, and during, its campaign.
Over two years, I was the sole Copywriter and SEO Executive for digital agency Soap Media. My job was to manage all copy and on-site SEO based content work for its clients, such as the AA, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, and Lancashire County Council. I also helped the agency with its numerous side-projects, which included several lead generation ventures.
